Terms of Service
Effective 10 October 2026
Sign as many documents as you need, free. Only sign what you’re allowed to sign. Don’t point bots or scripts at Nubury.
1. About these terms
Nubury (nubury.in) is operated by OxiClear Private Limited, Near THK Gas Agency, Samrala Road, Machhiwara, Ludhiana, Punjab 141115, India (“we”, “us”). By using Nubury you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Nubury for a business, you agree to them on that business’s behalf and confirm you have the authority to do so.
2. What Nubury does
Nubury lets you put your signature, and for businesses a company stamp, on PDFs and photographed documents, then download or share them. Documents are processed on your own device. You can use Nubury without an account, or sign in with your email to keep your signature and stamp on any device.
3. Free to use, with fair use
Nubury provides unlimited personal and business document signing, free of charge. Normal use by people has no monthly document or page limits.
To keep Nubury fast and reliable for everyone, you must not:
- use scripts, bots or other automation to process documents in bulk, or to access Nubury other than through its normal interface;
- send abusive or excessive traffic, or try to overload, disrupt, probe or get around the security of Nubury or the systems behind it;
- share or pool accounts to run automated operations;
- resell Nubury, or offer its processing as part of another product or service, without our written permission;
- copy, scrape or reverse-engineer Nubury to build a competing service.
We may apply reasonable security checks, such as a short verification step, or temporary technical limits when activity looks automated or abusive. These protect the service and are not a cap on normal use. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.
4. Sign only what you’re allowed to sign
- Use only your own signature, and only on documents you are entitled to sign.
- Use a company name and stamp only if you are authorised to sign for that company, in the capacity shown.
- Business stamps are for private businesses and organisations. Never use Nubury to make or imitate the stamp or seal of a government office, court or public official.
- Never use Nubury to forge, alter or misrepresent a document, to impersonate anyone, or for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.
You are responsible for the documents you sign and send with Nubury.
5. What a Nubury signature is, and isn’t
Nubury places an image of your signature, and of your stamp if you use one, on a document. It is not a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) or Aadhaar eSign under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and Nubury does not verify anyone’s identity. Whether a document signed this way is accepted is between you and the people you send it to. Some documents legally need a handwritten signature, a DSC or eSign, stamp duty, notarisation or registration. Check what yours needs before relying on Nubury.
6. Your content
Your documents, signatures and stamps remain yours. Your documents never reach us. If you sign in, you allow us to store your signature and stamp details only to provide them back to you on your devices. Signatures you make with Nubury’s Polish and Create tools are yours to use as your own signature.
7. Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You must be 18 or older to create an account. You can delete your account at any time from the account screen.
8. Changes and availability
We work to keep Nubury available, but we may change, pause or stop features, or the service, at any time. If we introduce optional paid features in future, they will be clearly marked, and we will never charge you without your agreement. Free signing as described in section 3 is how Nubury works today.
9. No warranties
Nubury is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will suit a particular purpose. Check every signed document before you send it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, business or data, arising from your use of Nubury. Our total liability for any claim relating to Nubury is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
11. Suspension and ending
You can stop using Nubury at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect Nubury or other people. Sections 4, 5, 9, 10 and 12 continue to apply after that.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ludhiana, Punjab have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them or to Nubury, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and tell you in Nubury about any significant change before it takes effect. Continuing to use Nubury after that means you accept the updated terms.
