Privacy Policy
Effective 10 October 2026
Your documents never leave your phone. Nubury signs them on your own device. We only keep your signature and stamp if you choose to sign in, so you can use them on another phone.
1. Who we are
Nubury (nubury.in) is operated by OxiClear Private Limited, Near THK Gas Agency, Samrala Road, Machhiwara, Ludhiana, Punjab 141115, India (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information Nubury handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Nubury website and the app you can add to your home screen.
2. Your documents stay on your device
PDFs and photos you open in Nubury are read, scanned, cleaned up, signed and stamped inside your browser, on your device. They are not uploaded to us, and we cannot see them.
- When you share a file to Nubury from another app, such as WhatsApp or Gmail, it is kept briefly in your browser’s storage on your device so Nubury can open it, and is deleted as soon as it opens.
- When you send a signed document on WhatsApp, by email or another app, it goes through that app, under that app’s own privacy terms.
3. What we handle, and why
If you don’t sign in
Your signature image and, for Business, your stamp details (company name, entity type, designation and ink colours) are saved in your browser on that device, so you don’t have to set them up again. We don’t receive them.
If you sign in
- Email address, to send you a one-time sign-in code and identify your account.
- Your saved signature and stamp details, as listed above, so they are available on any device where you sign in.
- Sign-in session details, kept in your browser so you stay signed in.
We process this information with your consent, which you give by choosing to sign in. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account (see section 6).
When anyone visits
Like every website, the services that deliver Nubury to your browser receive standard technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages and files requested, and the time. They use it to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse.
4. What we don’t do
- We don’t upload, read or keep your documents.
- We don’t sell or rent your information.
- We don’t use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
- We don’t use your signature for anything except putting it on your own documents.
5. Service providers
We rely on a few providers to run Nubury. Each acts on our instructions and only receives what it needs:
- Vercel hosts the website and receives the technical information described above. It may process it outside India.
- Supabase runs sign-in and stores accounts and saved signatures and stamps, in its Mumbai, India region.
- jsDelivr delivers the open-source code libraries and handwriting fonts that run in your browser, and receives standard technical information when it does.
- An email delivery provider sends your sign-in codes and receives your email address to do so.
We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect Nubury, our users or the public from fraud or harm.
6. How long we keep it, and deleting it
- Your account and saved signature and stamp are kept until you delete your account. To delete them, open the account screen in Nubury and tap “Delete my account”. Your email address and saved signature and stamp are removed straight away. Backup copies kept by our providers are overwritten within their normal backup cycle.
- Signing out removes your signature and stamp from that device.
- Without an account, clearing your browser’s data for nubury.in removes everything Nubury saved on that device.
- Technical logs are kept by our hosting providers for a limited period for security and then deleted.
7. Security
Nubury is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Saved signatures and stamps are protected by access rules, so only the signed-in owner can read or change them. Processing documents on your own device means there are no documents on our servers to lose. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep the email account you sign in with secure too.
8. Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to:
- see a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update it;
- erase it, and withdraw your consent;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to;
- have a grievance about our handling of your data resolved.
Most of this you can do yourself in the app: change your signature or stamp at any time, or delete your account. For anything else, write to us at the address below from the email you sign in with. We may ask for details needed to confirm it’s you.
9. Children
Nubury is meant for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you’ve already given us, we’ll tell you in Nubury before it takes effect.
